This is our hotel in Albuquerque, it was on historic route 66.
These are Paisley's cute new pj's.
We've been through a lot of states these past 2 days of traveling. I get to cross off 2 on my list: New Mexico and Oklahoma. We are finally in Kansas, just barely over the border in Liberal. We were planning on staying in Oklahoma, but the town was booked. We are having a good time traveling. We did a lot of exploring in Albuquerque, and had fun going to Old Town. We are about 4 hours from our new home, McPherson Kansas.
Sure looks like you guys are having a great time. Thanks for taking pictures infront of all the state signs. That is a very fun tradition. Safe travels tomorrow.
I just blew up the picture of Paisley on your hotel bed and I realized how long her hair has gotten since Boston. She used to have just two little ponies and now she has tons of hair and curls in those two little ponies. She is so cute.
Is Liberal Kansas famous for something - it sounds familiar. It is nice to get a report mid-trip. I'm glad that it is going O.K. (except in Oklahoma where you couldn't find a place to stay.) We are not kidding about wanting to get daily reports on Kansas life and the life of the Jas Cornwalls. Thanks for a great first installment.
There have been so many great posts lately and the quality of comments has been so high that I have felt intimidated to comment. I hope that your adventure goes incredibly well. Thanks for keeping us updated.
