Easter Sunday

Jeff and I agree that everything is more fun with a child, especially when that child is Wendy. This belief rang true for Easter this year. First thing after she woke up Jeff helped her walk out into the living room where many colorful eggs and a cute little stuffed bunny from Grandma and Grandpa Cornwall awaited her. The eggs were "hidden" around our apartment and front yard. She loved going around and reaching for each egg, and of course she had them in her mouth without missing a beat. After our morning hunt we got her dressed in her Easter best. I decided to make her dress this year and think that will continue to be a tradition. It was fun to see her in it, and she didn't seem to mind a little photoshoot to document it. Our morning was followed with a session of Conference, brunch with the Andersons and the concluding session at their home. It was a lovely day, made more so by remembering the reason for the Easter season.

  1. What a pretty Easter baby... and in a lovely Easter dress. (Nice job Reesa!) It is crazy to imagine Wendy is grown up enough to bolt around for a egg hunt. Glad you Provo kids could enjoy the day and G.C. together.

  2. I love the "action shot" when it looks like Wendy is running out of Reesa's arms to get an egg. And that dress is almost as darling, and sweet, and beautiful as Wendy.

  4. The focus on her face when she is looking at those eggs - so cute. She does look she enjoys being upright. The dress just looked perfect for the occasion.
