Our little Wendy is three weeks old and we couldn't be happier for the time we've had with her so far. It is already difficult to imagine life without her. She makes our home a happier place and keeps us smiling with her cute personality. Here are a few highlights from the past few weeks.
We love watching her wake up from naps, she has a signature stretching routine that makes us laugh. The bassinet she sleeps in housed each Kent/Sue Cornwall child. Now Wendy gets to spend her slumbers there too.
Our first family walk took place on a blustery June day, so we bundled our little girl up in a cute little gray jumper that kept her nice and cozy. It's much too big (as are many of her clothing items since she is a small little thing) but we think that makes her look even more darling. She loves being outside, so we are excited for future outdoor adventures.
Wendy came right in time to celebrate Jeff's first Father's Day. As per tradition, we decorated the Subaru to pay tribute to Jeff's new role as Wendy's dad.
We love all of the silly things Wendy does. Sometimes we wonder if we should have had her middle name be "Houdini" because she likes to wiggle her arms out of blankets and sleepers. She seems to fancy those hands of hers!
We couldn't be more smitten with our little girl. It is such a blessing to be her parents. We love her so much and have loved every minute of the past few weeks. She is already growing quite quickly, so we are trying to savor every moment with our sweet darling.

Thank you for the beautiful post!!! How I love that girl and miss her so much. She seems like she has always been part of the family.
ReplyDeleteGreat bunch of photos. Fav, for sentimental reasons, is the cradle. There were a lot of cute, sweet babies that spent a lot of time in the first few months of their lives in that little cradle. It was a gift from Great Grandma and Grandpa Cornwall. It was unfinished, so we stained and varnished it to match other furnishings at 331.
