I finally finished spring term for my masters program. I took two classes: Modern Art and Fiber Arts. Modern Art was a regular undergrad course which I managed to dump on top of the last month of teaching and having a baby. The Fiber Arts course was specifically created for us teachers. It was just a two week course that started on June 2nd, the day before Wendy's birth. Miraculously, I was able to complete all the assignments. The course involved learning a wide variety of home arts. We needed to be competent in each skill and then extend it somehow into a fine artwork inspired by the technique, process or material. We were required to document our work and I chose to do a blog because of familiarity.

Jeff - so awesome - not only your home arts ability, but your extension of the home arts. I love to have a needle in my hand. Glad that got passed on to you.
