Happy Birthday Grandpa

  1. There was never a finer birthday video than this one. I think perhaps it took about 60 years to film and edit - I know how long that takes and especially with shots from around the country. I don't know who conceived of the idea, but great, crazy job. I don't know who edited, but great, great job. I do know who all the stars of the video are - great, great job. And for anyone other than me that loved every minute of it and actually watched every minute of it - great, great job. Even tho' my life has had it' share of bumps on the head, missed buses, stomach aches, throwing up, jacking up houses, cracker and apples, near punches in the nose and full of common knowledge (by the way, good job on the green screen tech.) my joy is my dear wife, for whom I owe my wonderful, funny, silly posterity. My birthday could end RIGHT NOW!

  3. There are so many many moments that I loved in this video. Thanks to all of you for taking the time and for the Andersons who stitched it together!! I love all those stories!!! Eating in the Dog House - Great portrayal Daniel and Seth. I loved the cameo of Elizabeth as Lenore. "Kent - are you in the Pantry?" Jas Corns - great remembering about riding the garage door - I didn't remember that. Paisley - you are awesome. Sarah did a great job reading dad's two stories - throwing up on the plane and giving his stuff away. First day at La Canada high school - a classic. Love the lunch room lady and the classmates - wow did those kids take acting lessons. bur it toe??? So glad someone did D.I. It deserved to be in there. I hope it wasn't really 4:00 a.m. Jas!!! The missionary sequence - classic. Dad may remember the "hair being long" a little bit different - but I really liked those two missionaries!! I hate to have one favorite moment - but it has to be the hat in the house-jacking up scene. NAILED IT!!! I can't believe you sacrificed a Red Sox hat for the greatest joke in the movie. SO FUNNY (because he wears it all the time - even to the store - YIKES!!!) Lunch at the office - Rachel - it was so right on and I know that because I watch him do it every day - CLEVER and funny. Reesa and Jeff - GREEN SCREEN????? WOW. Loved the accent and Jeff's portrayal of the picture taking dad. Spencer - love the slow motion trip and reception line. Oh you kids are fun and funny. Loved Sarah's sweet visual. It was almost as good as being together in person. LOVE ALL OF YOU SO MUCH!!!
