Thanksgiving Day

As shown below, Thanksgiving day started with an invigorating hike up to Monrovia Canyon Falls. We figured we'd burn the calories before we ate them. We got plenty of chances to rest thanks to Mom's local notoriety (we probably stopped 3 or 4 times to talk to people). Then it was out to Grandpa's. To have more time to play, Mom slaved in the kitchen on Tuesday so most of the food was pre-pared and just needed some warming up. After reading and seeing about Grandpa virtually for the past several months, it was nice to see him in the flesh. We both thought he was doing really well. He's so cute. Although a small bunch, the evening was rather enjoyable spending time with family. The food, of course was delicious including the yummy appetizer and Martinellis provided by the John Cornwalls. We are SO thankful for our family and for YOU!

  1. Thanksgiving was probably the smallest in my Cornwall recollection - but it was some of my very favorite people. Great day.
