Thanksgiving Eve

As many of you are aware, Reesa and I made the trip down to California for the short Thanksgiving break. Boy are we sure glad we did. It was so nice to be "away from it all" and to spend so much time (in such a short time frame) with Mom and Dad. We took off Tuesday right after work/school and drove through the night. Wednesday's activities began at Yoga Madre. Mom had received a gift card there a couple Christmases ago (from us).  It was a very pleasant session. Our next event was a visit to The Huntington. Again, Mom used another gift card she had received for a year membership. Reesa's first visit left a great impression. I enjoyed revisiting the beautiful grounds, seeing the artwork, and chatting with my lovely wife and mother. We left The Huntington to pick up Daddio and went straight to Americana to grab some dinner and experience California snow.

  1. Hey, if you wanted snow, you could have spent Thanksgiving in Utah. Oh, but this was special California "snow" swirling and twirling. That kind of snow allows for beautiful afternoons at Huntington Gardens. Okay... we choose the California fake snow.

  2. Once again I think you two could have full-time work traveling with wealthy people and documenting their lives - BEAUTIFUL PICTURES, great insights at a beautiful place. It was a lovely day. So happy to spend it with such nice people.
