On December 5, 6, 7 the Arcadia Stake put the famous Dickens Christmas story on stage. It was a wonderful, enjoyable holiday treat for the community, friends and neighbors. The above video shows highlights of some of the more significant and fun moments in the show. Many asked Mom & Dad Cornwall if they had anyone in the show (since there has always been a Cornwall in the Stake theater productions). Ah, the Cornwall children are all scattered far and wide, BUT there is a decidedly Cornwall contribution that plays a part. It is in the above video. Who will be the first to comment on discovering it???
The performances were at the Arcadia Stake Center. The foyers were decorated to greet the audience and welcome them to a warm Dickens Christmas.
In between the Saturday matinee and the evening performance the cast and crew were treated to a Christmas feast prepared by Sister Cornwall. Particularly delectable were the brownies... 3 kinds - peppermint, carmel/pecan, and plain.
Sorry the quality of the video is a bit weak. Vimeo cut off the last 2 minutes of my first high quality upload and will not let me upload that many mB until after Monday. So I processed one of lower resolution rather than wait.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, video and production help dad!!! What a wonderful experience for our stake. The play was great. The pictures of the foyers do not do justice to the beautiful decorations dad did to spruce things up.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a fun production. This era of stake musicals will be remembered by many with very fond memories.
ReplyDeleteI am guessing that Dad's contribution is something that hangs from the ceiling that was acquired for a recent wedding. Am I correct?
It's not "dad's contribution" it's Cornwall contribution. Here is a hint. You would know it with your eyes closed.
