This week we all were sick so we had a couple sick days and today we are having a snow day, so I had some time to kill with the kids! Luckily I also have some random crafty things hanging around the house so we were able to come up with a couple fun activities. First we made Santa hats. Since our refrigerator isn't magnetic we decided to hang them from our white board!
Today for our snow day we decided to make snowmen... inside, in the warmth of our house!
We glued buttons on for eyes, mouth and on the snowman's jacket. We colored on a carrot nose. I cut up scraps of fabric and added a scarf for each snowman. The kids thought it would be fun for the snowmen to wear their Santa hats, so I taped them to the wall under their Santa hats. We have had some fun craft days this week!
Sorry to hear about your under-the-weather-ness. Speaking of weather...I heard about the big snow storm in the mid-west. It's well that you had some warm cozy indoor fun things to do. Those are pretty nice snowmen and Santa hats.
