Sturtevant Falls

It was a lovely California day and we just couldn't pass up the opportunity for a morning hike. We chose to venture into the Big Santa Anita Canyon and hike the trail to Sturtevant Falls. The outing included a steep descent, lush scenery and a splendid waterfall. Of course what goes down must come up, which included a finale of steep hiking back to where we started. The kids were the first to make it to the top and little Seth walked on his own practically the entire way up. We had a hearty bunch and wouldn't be opposed to another hike before the break is over.
