Early Anniversary Celebrations

We were lucky enough to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary early this year. Mom Cornwall flew out to watch the kids so we could have some time away. We went and spent the night in downtown Kansas City and ate... A LOT!

These lovely flowers were waiting in our room. I've never received a dozen roses before, it was super fun!

While we were away the kids had a great time with Grandma making crafts and gingerbread houses!
It was an early morning taking Grandma to the airport but the kids were happy to go and get some final moments in. Luckily she will be back in a month when baby hulk (no we are not really naming him that, he doesn't have a name in case you have an opinion!) is born! :)

  1. What a fun get away for you two oldly-weds. I'd say those gingerbread houses should have won at you ward party. You're nice Grandma Cornwall.

  3. Wow that seemed like a nice little trip you must have stayed at a nice place if they give everyone roses (nice job jason). And dare I say those are some awesome Gingerbread houses or should I say Mansions. Thanks for sharing
