Christmas Season 2012

Since Santa is coming "lyrae" (code) this year. We have started our Chirstmas season a little earlier than normal. And since we are in our new house we needed some festive things to decorate. Mb is responsible for everything you see here except for the post itself.
Marybeth made this awesome Wreath from "scratch" and yes it did take a very long time but it was very worth it as you can see here. She is very crafty

We hung up these picture frames on the wall but did not have pictures for all of them so Marybeth has put in things that represent the current season that we are in. Marybeth put those ribbons to use yet again
The other night for RS the activity was Holidays themed centered around food. Marybeth made this very fancy cheeseball that was very tasty, and we were able to use this platter that Marybeth's mom got us sometime ago.
Here is our Nativity that Marybeth has accumulated over the years from her family and it is the first year we have been able to set it up, luckily we have kids version as well as this one
We went to the Holiday on the Green in Plymouth again this year, and it has become a fun little tradition, that we will try and do every year. It was very wet and cold but we did have a fun time.

The Christmas Season for me is not a Christmas season without A lot of Mannheim Steamroller cranked way way up. Dad was kind enough to send me a few songs and the ones used are ones that are played many times a day in our home. The video is about some of the fun things we have done so far this month. So feel free to turn the volume up and enjoy. Christmas season 2012 from M Cornwall on Vimeo.

  1. With a fun post like that I feel like I was a part of the Robb Cornwall's Christmas. It is so nice to see some of the fun things you have been doing. What a wonderful Christmas in your new home. It would seem that would be enough Christmas all by itself. If that is the way you feel let us know and we won't send you any presents... Ohhpp! Too late, they are already (almost) on their way.

Those sure were some fun winter caps in the video. And a gingerbread train, well that just toot's my horn...a lot more fun than a boxy old house! Looks like Christmas is a merry time in Boston.

  2. Oh how I wish we were neighbors so we could go to all those fun places with you and to see your beautifully decorated home. I love December and all the fun magical things to do. There are definitely twinkles in Bennett and Emary's eyes.

  3. Robb - Nice post. You are becoming quite the photographer/videographer.

Marybeth - Holy Craftiness! You are so talented.

Bennett - I think you should ask for a goat for Christmas.

Emary - I love how excited you were seeing the ornaments on the tree.
