A very nice service was held today for our good friend David Marshall. We will be forever thankful for our friendship with the Marshall family and David's wonderful example of Christlike service.
FYI -- Mom had a notable role in the lovely service. Mom helped organize and played the piano for a sweet Primary chorus who provided the special musical numbers. Mom spoke just prior to Bishop Stevenson and gave thoughtful and touching remarks about this special man. Then Mom provided the (top) main dish for the luncheon buffet and a yummy Texas sheet cake.
You were the right woman for the job Mom. You were/are such an amazing friend to those Marshalls. I should make that Fiber Optic Light Sculpture thing in his honor.
