Mom, Dad & Sarah flew up to Hillsboro last Thursday (May 29) to be there for baby Seth's special day.

Elizabeth and Daniel-boy took advantage of a fun Grandpa...

and a very fun, cute Grandma.

There were walks to the park and swinging and reading and playing.

The Andersons had arranged to borrow a friends "cabin" which is a few miles east of Astoria and the Oregon coast. There was a beautiful drive through the Oregon country to get there on Friday afternoon.

There was plenty of room inside for eating, games and sleeping...

... for the whole group who eventually arrived. In addition to the 5 Oregon Andersons and the 3 California Cornwalls, there was Grandma and Grandpa Anderson and Dallin's brother Bryce and 4 of his college buddies. (The 5 had just hiked Mt. Shasta a couple of days before with Dallin's uncle.) Katie was a wonderful, well prepared hostess to the lot.

After dinner all went for a walk down to the Columbia River (we ended up only reaching a tributary and some interesting houses both on and off the river). The evening was spent with games, in which Sarah represented the California contingent for the into-the-wee-hours marathon with Dallin and the 5 college men.
