This beautiful piece of architecture is the pompidou! It's a museum (musée) and library (bibliothèque) and commons area found in the very heart of Paris. And the reason it concerns us (well, me) other than the fact that it is one of the hallmarks of the city, is that I found out today that the institute building where classes and church will be held is about 100 yards away from this spot. Hooray!
How excited I am to be in this beautiful city. In my prep class we've talked a lot about how different the culture is, mais c'est la vie! (Sorry, that was a sad and cliche thing to say, but . . . oh well!)
It looks really grande. What a fun adventure in life to anticipate.
