Dad was driving to work and Mom was just home from Seminary when they both heard a feature on National Public Radio regarding the LDS Welfare system. It was very positive and informative and it featured our very own L.A. Storehouse down on Soto St.Click the above npr window to see the transcript or listen.
Dad was on his way to work and I was at home and we just happened to be listening to NPR at the same time - listen to it kids - it will make you proud to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. (We know good old Bishop Fox - it made me love him even more.) It would be interesting to see how many people who heard it are now trying to find a Mormon Bishop.
