We have been preparing the 120 year old framing for drywall -
And we have been adding some seismic safety details.
We blew in thermal insulation.
Couldn't have done it without Mom today. When the insulation was done we loaded and unloaded 20 sheets of gypsum board getting ready for the next exciting phase.
You two have not missed a beat. How long has it been since all the other rooms/house have been done? To see these pictures brings back so many vivid memories of the good ole' days. I only wish I could be there to help. Maybe the weekend of December first? No guarantees but that sure would be fun for a few reasons. You guys are amazing. I literally can't wait to see the finished product.
ReplyDeleteYour dad is the amazing one!!! He is incredible. I know it isn't easy, that he must be exhausted or feeling it in his over-50 bones - but he is just like the energizer bunny - he keeps going and going and going!!! Boy are we getting excited!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Robbie, seeing those walls and all the tools brings back fond memories of my childhood. When I ever I smell paint thinner and saw dust it reminds me of my childhood. Thanks for making our home such a special place.
