Jeffrey and Dad did it... the crown molding is up. This one little picture does not do justice to the very, very, very long Friday the Jeff helped, up and down and up and down, etc... to fit each of the 6 pieces the make up the crown detail.

Then the window casing all got re-installed....

And we will have lights that are more than a dangling light bulb from a wire in the middle of the ceiling. Note: these are special toggle
dimmer light switches... so not only will we have lighting it will be adjustable. Woo, woo... (Good for "spooning" to quote Mom.)
What a good looking house. It sure looks like it has been designed and constructed masterfully. We love getting the updates. We can tell that Dad has been working super hard because there hasn't been one post made on the Pez blog in all of November. (Dad, this is not to give you a guilt trip for not posting but provides evidence that testifies of your diligence.)
ReplyDeleteThis has been a huge distraction from the PEZ collection - Ya Hoo!!!
ReplyDeleteLet me just say as a P.S. to that kind of Pez-degrading post - dad has been working so so so hard. It is so fun to walk in there and see the progress. If I hadn't been there to appreciate all the work I wouldn't have believed it!!
ReplyDeleteLet me just say that the MAIN reason there has not been a PEZ post is to leave the space open for OTHERS who have breaking PEZ news to share. But getting this close to Christmas maybe it is fun for those unnamed "OTHERS" to hold off pending some es-pez-cially fun gift giving.
