THE SAND-ING MAN COMETH

After 3 mud coats (5-6 at the butt joint in the ceiling) it was time for the sanding to begin. Boy, it is just one fun job after another.
p.s. 3 mud coats is standard in the industry, it's not cuz Dad did a poor job on the first 2.
Also, Dad noticed today (when looking on a web site for a special primer/sealer for our wall covering ) that there was a 20% discount on area rugs which ends TOMORROW. So Mom and Dad rendezvous in the parking lot after her speaking assignment tonight, picked out and ordered the parlor rug. Now that WAS fun.
