From our overnight in Springfield, MA
we popped down to Rhode Island.
We crossed the awesome bridge onto Newport island.
In the 1900's the "money" of the U.S. (Vanderbuilt, Astor, etc..) discovered Newport and built "cottages".
There are dozens of the most impressive beach "cottages" you will ever see.
We left Katie and Dallin in Providence where they rented a car to do a few more days of touring (Dallin's Conn. mission) and for Dallin to do some intern interviews & Katie to see another Broadway show.
From Rhode Island we shot up to Boston - dropped off our super-duper van and made it to the airport for our flight home.
The mansions were unbelievable. Next visit I am going through a couple of them!!
