Robb's Wedding/Trip - DAY THE 6th

If it's December 31st
It must be Rachel's birthday
We sang "happy birthday to you"
in White Plains, N.Y.

We were all very excited about it being
Rachel's birthday (and the 3 1/2 hour drive
across Conn. & Mass. back to Boston)

We made a quick stop in Concord & Lexington

And the bridge where the Minutemen
mustered by Paul Revere
faced the British troops.

I t was here they fired the "shot heard around the world"

On our way to Boston we drove around Harvard (lot's of ivy)

Then it was to the New Years celebration -
with ice sculptures, a parade and a big, big crowd
at Boston Common.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The stop for the night was in Pewksbury, excuse me - that's
Tewksbury, a town north of Boston, to finish off 2006.

  1. I would just like to apologize for being one of the founding fathers of Pewksbury. Despite all the sickness, I think this is one of the best trips we have ever been on.

  2. What a way to bring in the new year. It was a great day. I'm glad that no one took a picture of me asleep - I'm sure it would be with mouth open and drool. You three look really cute. LOVE YOU RACHEL!!!

  3. That day was really fun but very COLD but that is what makes life exciting. I am glad we saw the ice sculptures because you don't see that very often growing up in California.
