Robb's Wedding/Trip - DAY THE 5th -p.m.

Our little town blues
They melted away
We saw a little part it
New York, New York
The rumbling subway took us to the peaceful temple
in north Manhatten,

We took a walk in the park,

We rumbled in the subway to the south,

We reverently viewed the awe of Ground Zero,

We enjoyed a real taste of New York -
pizza across the street from Ground Zero

Then the subway north again to Grand Central Station

It was the late train back to White Plains.
And since we made it there
We'll make it anywhere,
What fun for all,
New York, Neewwww Yooooooork!

  1. Dad, great post but I have to admitt I was a little upset because there was no mention of Drpwsy Chaperone which was the New York highlight for me. Then I noticed that there were two posts. You tricked me.

  2. Wow, that really seemed like a really fun time from the busy NYC life to the not so busy and quiet temple. Thank you for taking so many pictures and for more importantly sharing them with those eager to see them that were not able to see them in real life. Was that as close as you got to "ground zero?" Or were there other shots? I would be interesting in seeing more of that if there is more of that to bee seen.

Were you guys able to eat that big pizza? I would think so, with one pregant woman and three manly men you cleaned that right up. It seemed like you did a lot of traveling via the train-tram-or whatever other t-word was used to help you to be Transported.

  4. Robb, Being at night and a big scene Ground Zero was not too good to photograph. I have a few other photos thru chain link fences but thie one I posted was up on a high platform so it showed it the best tho' it was through glass.

  5. Dad, I'm thinking you should be a lyricist after all of these great posts. So much so, that I am not even going to try to follow in your musical footsteps!!
