GOT MUSIC ?

To College Cornwalls: An article in the newpaper reported about a "music download service to any U.S. college student." ...."any student with a valid university e-mail account [i.e., ends in .edu] will be able to use the service to download music to their computer." You "will have access to Ruckus' more than 2.1 million tracks which [you] can download to [your] computer for free." You can not transfer files to a portable music player without paying a $5/mo. or $19/semester fee. If your University is one of a hundred that is part of the Ruckus' network you will also be able to download movies for free. (I am doubting BYU is part of the network.)

I checked out the site: http://www.ruckusnetwork.com/ On the right of the page is a "Free Music for College Students" banner that takes you to the sign-up screen.

  1. Glad that dad reads the newspaper so carefully!! I hope that someone with an edu at the end of their email takes advantage of this.

  2. Dad great graphics. I tried it out and it didn't work with BYU's account. Thanks for thinking of us.
