We had some visitors out of the time machine at seminary in the last few weeks. The first two pictures are of Emma Smith (she looks vaguely like Melissa Rosster). She came back in time to study Section 25.
This morning - Thomas B. Marsh arrived - you can see a glimpse of the Time machine in the back ground. He gave the kids some great facts, discussed section 31 - then behind the curtain also came his wife and Sister Harris (who looked a lot like Sister C and Sister M). They talked about their wanting to combine their milk to make a bigger cheese. Sister Marsh admitted to keeping the strippings - she even had some in a jar that the kids shook up to make butter. After class we all had home made butter, pumpkin and banana bread. Sister M. came up with the whole concept, even cast the roles - I don't know how happy I am that she asked me to be SISTER MARSH - does anyone know how to say TYPE CASTING??????
Sounds like a fun day. I never realized we look so much like our church history figures. I have to admit that those breads sound really yummy. I wish I could have had some. Yes, Dallin I am a sucker for pastries.
ReplyDeleteHey Mom, talk about type casting I,I,I am the "President" who would, quote, "go to hell defending the integrity of my wife if need be", because I love her so much. Actually I don't have to worry about going to "h", "e", double hockey sticks because my wife's integrity will always be stellar.

Dad corn, I could not agree more, Sure I was excited to see Emma, and Thomas look amazing if I do say so myself, I just wish I was there to see those theatrical genes that you have passed on in action, we all know that you enunciated (how ever you spell that) and you were really fun. Thanks for the pics. Mom I can't believe you didn't get a picture you two. Oh well. Thanks for the post
ReplyDeleteP.S. I wanted to laugh at the end of the caption, but I was not sure if I was supposed to. What is type casting? This might be another Uhaul moment, but I am willing to take the heat. If it is a joke I sure would like to laugh too. Thanks
