Many of you have heard the story about Shirl and Lenore requesting Kent, while he was on his mission, to forgo the college life at the University of Utah and pursue his architecture degree while living at home (A really hard decision). After reading his patriarchal blessing and seeing the blessings that would come to him if he was obedient to his parents, he made the choice to come home and live at 1213 Flintridge Circle. This picture perfectly represents the family dynamic at the time. I am beginning my goal of documenting Cornwall history by scanning and retyping things that were at 1213. This year may be highly documented with things from that journey.
