One Year

A little belated, but we'll continue on with the birthday posts. Wendy is a year old...We're not really sure how that happened. She is really the sweetest little thing and has brought such a bright light into our home. Over the past year we have been humbled over and over again at the sweetness of her soul and the innocence of her being. She is a genuinely happy baby who seems to radiate goodness. She has changed our lives for the better, made them a bit trickier and tiring, but oh so much more meaningful. The happy, joyous moments we have experienced with Wendy are too many to be numbered. We are so grateful to have had a whole year to spend getting to know this funny girl who loves playing in her crib, eating hummus by the spoonful, babbling at her own reflection in the mirror, being outside, going for bike rides, welcoming daddy home after work, attempting to walk on her own, reading books, and grinning with her five teeth! Wendy is one special girl, and we love her more than words.
