Blizzard 1 of 3

Another snowy day-seemed like a great way to get updated on blogging.  This was our first official storm Juno, we have since had Kari and today are having Linus(and already have another 4 inches already).  Robbie enjoyed the acrobatics of the trampoline.
He didn't sink down all the way but the snow is probably about 2.5 ft with drifts up to 4 ft due to the wind.
Robbie shoveled a path next to our sledding trail so the kids wouldn't get lost in the snow.   I love that cheesy grin!
Emary had to work the hardest with her tiny body trying to stay above the snow!

Rescue mission- Bennett and Emary got in too deep so Robbie came with the sled!

We decided to try sledding down the walkway since it was nice and carved out for us!
 Eating snow!  Yum!
We were so glad Daddy made it hope to clear go sledding with us!  He did a lot of pushing, pulling, shoveling and rescuing!

In the morning (Above)
A few hours later (below)-probably another 9-12"
We are thinking February is going to make up for our not so snowy winter so far!  And of course Daddy is working in the middle of it-the hospital never sleeps!  Although we kindof joked about how they shut down everything and no one was allowed to drive except for "Necessary professionals", I guess everyone else can consider themselves and their jobs, un-necessary (and to think as a teacher I thought I was necessary-not in a blizzard I guess).  So proud of my necessary professional!

  1. Let it snow, let it snow
    Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Til' the snow's piled up to the door!

    I don't care
    Let's go outside and play
    Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway!

Keep having fun, letting it snow!

  2. The pictures helped me get the scope of the storm. I was happy that the sun was shining and you were taking advantage of some fun family time.
