Woods Hole, Ma

A few weeks ago we visited Woods Hole.  It was a wonderful wonderful day trip.  We hope to do it again in warmer weather.  It is a beautiful place.  This is one of the places where you can catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard- we hope to make a visit there this summer too!!
While we were in woods hole we were able to visit the Woods Hole Science Aquarium.  It is a little aquarium that rescues sea life that aren't able to take care of themselves.  They even have these adorable seals outside!  They were so much fun to watch!

Can you find the hidden fish in this seaweed?
Here is a closer look!
This was one of Bennett's favorite things to look at.

Emary was a brave little girl and got very close to all the creatures in the touch tank.  There were tons of scary looking fish inside too!

Afterwards we visited the Nobska lighthouse.  It was such a picturesque location right on the water.

On our way home we stopped in Bourne and saw Great Grandpa and Beth's grave.  The cemetery is very far away from home but it is such a beautiful and peaceful location for Veterans and their immediate family members.

It was such a fun day, cold, but beautiful day!

  3. Put it on the list of things to do on our next visit. It looks really scenic. I am glad for the photo in the cemetery with y'all bundled up to show that it was a chilly winter day.
