As we were doing the final clearing out of 1213/Great Grandpa's house we came across a long lost item that we had been hoping to find. This item, a batik wall hanging dad did in high school, is shown in the above photo. It was hanging in an honored spot at 1213 for many years and then disappeared for the last decade or so. Now, dad's three wise men have a new home and new honored spot for decades to come.
Christmas with small children is the most wonderful . . .
especially for grandmas.
It really was a great Christmas. We are happy we got to see this new addition to 336 for the first year in its new home! It is lovely on its own, but hearing about the process and forethought that went into its making really creates an appreciation for it.
ReplyDeleteOh Christmas morning with a babe, there is nothing better. I can only imagine how great the years to come will be! That Wendy loves her grandma.
