On Friday, Jan. 2nd the Montana van was loaded (one last time?) full to the brim with coed commodities to take Sarah up to BYU-P. Mom and Dad drove straight to Sarah's new digs. It was a new experience, moving a child to college in a snow covered winter month. Fortunately, Sarah's new home for the coming semester is warm and nice. (Her room is the one on the lower left corner of the below photo.) Mom and Dad stayed in Provo until Sunday afternoon.

It is definitely nice that Mom and Dad have such a comfortable and welcoming place to stay on such a trip. Katie happily provided meal after meal after meal as Mom and Dad ran around getting Sarah moved in. Occasion was also taken for Mom and Dad to go to lunch with Dad's brother David and also to pay a visit to Dad's sister Cherie at their very new (to them) house just a few streets up the foothills from Katie and Dallin.
After a number of years of comings and goings it is interesting to note that half (3 of 6) Cornwall kids are convened in the same city and half of the Cornwall grand-kids are right there in the same city too. That makes visiting a little more efficient.

We feel so lucky to have spent Christmas with a fun bunch at 336 and also getting to travel with them back to Provo. We are soooo excited that Sarah is here again!!! Oh we are loving having so much family around. It was a sad moment saying goodbye on Sunday but we're happy there are lots of reasons to visit Provo!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very fun trip! I am excited to see what school looks like for Sarah in the next few months and more! That is very lucky to have half your kids and half your grandkids in one place. I never imagined that so many Cornwalls would be in Provo that long. Its a very fun place!
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE having Sarah in PROVO!!!! Sorry Mom and Dad.
