happybirthday/merrychristmas/happybirthday

Spencer and I are making some changes in 2015. The biggest of which is that I quit my job at Northstar to pursue other interests, namely: programming, watching Jens and teaching piano lessons!

We have been scouring Craigslist for pianos and I drove all over Ohio to look at them (and too often they were painfully and irreparably out of tune). We finally found one just a few days before Christmas and we are in love.
It fits in our awkwardly oblong front room really well, and I have already gotten to spend some time playing away on it a few evenings in the past week. I am seriously in love.
The previous owner was a self-taught musician and wrote the letters on the keys (we'll get the letters off no problem, I just need to borrow a baby wipe from somebody!)

We feel really blessed to not only have the piano but that I get to spend time at home teaching.

  2. I love your piano. I hope it loves the Twelmeyers back a thousand times over in the coming many years. It appears to be a lovely instrument... altho' that is not necessarily the most important attribute. But if an instrument can delight a sense or two more than just the audible, that is the best.
