Cornwall Cabin 2014 #3

The Andersons arrived at the cabin Wednesday night. The next morning Jeff went on the second (and final) leg of the Tour de Cabin: The Park City Loop. Dad took him to the gate early in the morning and he set off down the canyon road. It was cold and beautiful with mist and a moose. The first leg of the loop was through Oakley and Peoa then through Browns Canyon and down into Park City. Turning around, he took the road back to Kamas up the monster hill overlooking Jordanelle. After a tip off of his approach, Mom rallied the gang to head to the gate for a welcoming party. This 50 miler just might become a new cabin tradition.

What MORE could you want for a stay at the cabin then a day trip to Smith and Morehouse Dam and Reservoir. It was a perfectly sunny day after the rain. We loaded up the 'ol canoe and found the perfect spot to set up a picnic. After some delicious homemade J Dawgs we swam, tubed and canoed. On an Anderson canoe excursion, Dallin came upon a makeshift raft of logs and paddled it all way back to our spot. Dallin was also a he-man, carrying the canoe up to the car all by himself. Beautiful scenery and wonderful people made for a delightful outing.
