After having three little boys in a small apartment there was an opportunity to build a house and Shirl and Lenore jumped at the chance. While Uncle Jon Neeley was at grandpas after Uncle Kay Neeley's funeral in January 2014 we found out that the property had been purchased by great grandpa Neeley. Shirl designed the house and had it built (I am hoping that dad - Kent - will give us more details about this house) . Dad has talked about so many memories he has of this house. Cherie has made Grandpa's slides available and I am loving seeing these pictures - many more to come. Some of these pictures will give you various views of the house.

Cherie took this picture of 2591 after Grandpa's funeral. A few changes, but many things are still the same.
I just had to include this picture. Dad is on the right and Craig is on the left - but I could swear it is Kent and Sethie!!!

ReplyDeleteThe days we got out the slip n' slide were some of the greatest days of my life. And yes, I loved that house. It broke my heart when my parents said we were leaving it for California. But I got over it!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these pictures. We drove past the house after grandpa's funeral. It is fun to see the door knob in the middle of the door. I have thought many times that Seth looks a lot like Craig. I guess I have lots of hidden Cornwall genes!!!
