Graduation: Part Two

The day has finally come and I can officially say I'm a college graduate! Oh what a marvelous feeling it is to be done. I love school and learning but it feels so great to reach this point! After a good run at BYU I have my Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise & Wellness. This long-anticipated day was celebrated amongst my dear family and friends. I am so grateful for their support and encouragement. It meant so much to have family here to celebrate with. Graduation weekend was just a glorious time and I loved every minute of it. Being part of the sea of graduates was exhilarating and I feel so privileged to be part of such an incredible group of individuals. Brigham Young University has provided me with countless opportunities to develop myself as a scholar, teacher, friend and disciple of Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for the influence of the many incredible people I had the chance to interact with during my time at this University. There is so much good in this world, so many people who want to do good. I am so excited to continue on, fulfilling the mission of Brigham Young University and strengthen my home, family and community.

It's been a marvelous journey. It's hard to believe that it was five years ago that my family dropped me off for my freshman year. So much has transpired between that time and now. It's difficult to compile a list of all the life-changing events that have happened during my time at this institution. I spent a semester in London, met a very handsome man, made some of my closest friends working at the Testing Center on campus, enrolled in uplifting and enlightening courses that I loved, married that very handsome man, got a job on campus teaching yoga and graduated with a baby on the way!

I cannot begin to express my great gratitude for the countless blessings in my life. I am so grateful for my family's continuous support, my sweet husband's patience and encouragement, my friends who brought life to the daily grind of study and my dear Savior who has blessed me more abundantly than I could ever rightly deserve.

What a wonderful time it has been these past few years. Now it's on to the next chapter of life, which will surely bring even more adventure and growth.
