Bennett had his first T-ball practice on Thursday. He was beyond excited. He kept asking me if he would get his own helmet! I told him he would be able to wear one when he was up to bat! This morning Bennett was talking about a baseball bat in his sleep. He loves being a ball player! Emary was very offended when the coach didn't hand her a green shirt. She came over to me with her head down and said, "My green shirt?" That didn't keep her from trying to participate. Bennett is on the Athletics. There are four teams in the 3 year old league. They have 4 practices and two games! I must say- some people think starting at 3 is a bit early but it is the cutest and funniest thing to watch- oh the silly moments! We loved it! Especially for a guy who talks about sports all the time! He would have started at 18 months if he could.
Bennett was such a great listener and has talked about his coach all week. He will have T-ball again tomorrow and he can't wait!
Reminds me of someone else I know with the initials RKC!! Oh I love a boy in a uniform. He looks so cute holding his glove - love the running to first. I do love Emary's attentiveness in the team meeting though.
