B is for BOSTON

The blog has had a very exciting Halloween ride... perhaps now we can take a moment to rewind to Mom and Dad's visit to Boston a couple of weeks ago.

Let's start in the middle and work outwards.  On the Saturday there was a special event with Robbie's department at Massachusetts General Hospital (Mass Gen to the locals).  We we got up early and heading to BOSTON.
The event was in a new museum for Mass Gen.  Downstairs there were displays of exceptional pioneering medical practices of the hospital.  Upstairs was a reception where Robbie was able to show offh is lovely children and wonderful wife... and parents ("who came all the way) from California.
The reason for the reception was to take a group photo of all in the respiratory therapy department as a highlight to Respiratory Care Week.
In the main hall of the hospital they had displays featuring some of the notable personnel in the department.
Following the Mass Gen visit, and since we were downtown - "lets' all go for a walk".  This turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip.  (Next post to come - "O")

  1. Dad had to use my account to post - just so you don't think I am commenting on my own great post. Boston is the most beautiful city!!! We are so proud of Robb and his career path. Nice to get a glimpse of things - hear his department head, see his coworkers, watch them drool over Bennett, Emary and admire Robb's cute family (and very cute wife!!). Looking forward to "O" of the trip.
