Monday morning, June 4th, was time to make like a Seattle tourist.

First stop (after dropping off Terri and Great Grandma H. at the airport) was the #1 touristy thing to do on nearly every must-see list for Seattle -
Pikes Place Market.

The #1 attraction at the #1 tourist stop was observed - men throwing fish at the fish market.

The "Gum Wall", just around the corner was not to be missed...

The image kinda...
sticks with you!

Managing to get back one's appetite, it was off to find which little place would be the best for lunch.

Lunch was from the cheese shop - the best ol' macaroni & cheese one would ever find and great grilled cheese sandwiches.

Backtracking to the best bakery spied along the way of earlier window shopping... a sampling of several pastries was shared by all.

Next was a hop over to the icon of Seattle - celebrating it's 50th year this year!

The funnest place at the Seattle Center was the dancing fountain.

Mom showed her courage by racing to touch the fountain head in between showers.

Ah Oh!... Is Mom still in there???

No. Mom is watching safely from the rim with Elizabeth.

Since Jeffrey and Reesa joined us for the Seattle sites Jeff made sure we did not miss the modern art sculpture garden... a great place for tots to play hide-and-seek.

The activities of the day got a few little bodies plum tuckered out.

Now where did the idea of matching kids travel clothes come from?

The day ended at the Tirrel's to share opening wedding presents.
What a special day in a beautiful city!!
