"Irish I was"

Happy St. Patrick's Day! As a teacher of children, specifically an art teacher, it is very difficult to avoid holiday inspired crafts (notice I did not use the word artworks). I have come to accept it more and more because my students enjoy it so much, particularly the younger grades. I conform to such holiday craftiness with my K-3 after school art class as well. With St. Patrick's Day approaching I was searching for an idea. Inspired from a few sources, I came up with this adorably awesome project. It turned out so well, I had Reesa run the camera up to snap some shots. Enjoy.

  1. First of all sorry to "bump you" but we are going to be out for the rest of the day.

Second of all what a fun post. Marybeth and I both loved the idea and thought it was great. I can only imagine the whole school walking the halls wearing their "inspired crafts" I think there are a lot of parents talking about you this weekend. Thank you Reesa for making the effort this is what the blog is all about.

  4. Soooooooo cute! Oh these kids are so lucky to have you for an art teacher. The photos capture their personalities so perfectly. It's reeeeeaaaal cute. The only thing that could make this post better is if Mr. Cornwall himself were captured wearing a leprechaun hat and beard.
