30 sure is something to celebrate!
On Thursday night Robbie and I went on a date, a short one, but without our sweet little babies, just the two of us. Its sometimes hard to be away because we love spending every second with them! We got delicious $1 ice cream sundaes and had a great time!
On Friday we celebrated with a free burger at Red Robin and some fun at the park! The weather was in the 70's. What a spoiled birthday boy to have warm weather in March!
We had a lot of fun!
On Saturday we had a family birthday party.
I made Robbie an edible football field. It turned out pretty good and tasted delicious!
Then of course we ate cake! Ice cream cake in fact!
Bennett thought that Daddy should eat it the way he did on his 1st birthday!
So he helped.
Both kids were happy to help him with opening presents. Emary even sported her "My Daddy Rocks" outfit!
Then Sunday morning we had a birthday parade. Bennett thought it was mostly for himself.
Emary loved watching it.
Robbie loved looking at his amazing scrapbooks. They are so much fun!!
It was a terrific weekend and I think it was Robbies best birthday yet!
It looks like a terrific birthday weekend. How nice that Robbie is surrounded by those who love him and those who he loves to celebrate his special day. It is fun to have the peeks into some fun, happy days.
ReplyDeleteGreat birthday report. Looks like you were treated royally!! YOU DESERVE IT!
ReplyDeleteRobbie, it looks like it was a great day. Marybeth I love the football field. Also, I sure enjoyed watching your video. I have been "by your side or in your shadow" for a lot of those pictures and it made me realized how blessed I am to be your sister.

ReplyDeleteI thought it was a birthDAY not a birthWEEKEND. Jealous.
ReplyDeleteEmary: Good lookin'. Bennett: Cakes were design to be eaten with hands. Don't let anyone tell you different. Marybeth: Quac, Salsa, Cheese, and Beef Sticks Football Field= Awesome. Robb: Way to be born.
