This past weekend, I had the privilege of journeying to St. George, Utah for some art education conferences. Unfortunately, I went by my lonesome, but I still had an enjoyable time.

On Thursday I had a training for the grant that funds my job. We did earthworks art. While everyone was making designs out of rocks, I created this.

The main event was the UAEA conference where all the art educators from the state gather and teach each other the cool things we've been doing in a workshop format.

Along with the temple visitor center (the temple was closed for maintenance), I also took a tour of Brigham Young's St. George residence.

It's painted green because the initial paint that was sent for the temple ended up being green. It was too expensive to send back so they just used it for the houses.

The Terrills have spent lots of time in St. George - you have captured the "essence" quite beautifully!!
