18 Month Photo Shoot!

We decided that our best photo shoot opportunity for 18 months would be in the snow, since it made it harder for Bennett to run or turn away we were finally able to get a decent 18 month photo that wasn't blurry!
So as you can guess he is a mover!
He is talking TONS! Putting 4-5 words together.
We love his little personality!
In church yesterday he was telling knock knock jokes, which consist of him saying, "knock knock" and everyone laughing.  Sometimes someone will respond with "who's there" and he will say something like "Basketball" but usually he just says "Knock knock" again. He thinks it is hilarious!
He has become much more creative with his food, putting it in his hair and on his face (enjoying all those textures) but I will say he always reminds me if I forget to give him a fork or spoon and he is getting very good at using those as well as a regular cup.
He loves to stack boxes, blocks and whatever else he can find.
He asks for a bath 3 or 4 times a day.
His newest tub game is something I might call tidal waves.  He takes all his toys and throws them to the other side of the tub with huge splashes and then moves to the other side and does the same over and over again, often shouting out the names of all the objects as he does...boat, fish, cookie monster, hat (a guy wearing a hat) etc.  He has even begun to get a little braver and lay on his belly and splash.
He loves to give hugs and kisses and say "yuv you" I love you (which melts my heart)
He still is the biggest bookworm and basketball fan ever.
He is still very polite and says Please and Thank you all the time even when we least expect it!  I love that!
He makes the cutest surprised, happy, flirty and sweet faces!
He is just the sweetest boy and we are so blessed to have him!

We had a lot of fun playing on our Snow Day!

  2. What a cute little family on Snow Day. The Bennett bundling would seem to keep his joints less flexible and sure made for holding still cute photos. Someday, IF he happens to end up in Florida or Arizona or, Hmmm... California in his old age it will be fun for him to remember living in the snow at 1 1/2 years old.
