The Serious Art of Eating

This is our typical eating attire.
I am sure I don't need to ellaborate.
Bennett can be somewhat picky about what he eats but the following two foods are his staples.
He considers eating a very serious art.
Notice the masterpiece on his belly.
I love it!
Tutorial 1: Eating Spaghetti
Step 1:
 Attempt a heaping spoonful.

Step 2:
Try to get it all in using the spoon (Mom and Dad love this method)

Step 3:
If need be, use your hand to finish the job.

Step 4:
Lick your fingers to ensure every last taste.

Note: The more you get on your belly - the better!
Tutorial 2: Eating Cereal

Step 1:
Have your nice momma pour you up a bowl of cereal in your favorite dish (compliments of Grandma Z- she got him one just like Daddys).  Smile of course!

Step 2:
Get your spoon ready for the plunge and enjoy!

Step 3:
Take a sip of milk out of your special straw...before the cereal is gone of course.

Step 4:
Sip it dry- milk lying around just makes it soggy!

Note: Robbie has had a bowl with a straw for the longest time..He always has to have a specific "cereal bowl" and I was blessed enough to be able to rid us of his last one that had seen way to many dishwashers in college years- thus requiring me to get him a new one which he insisted must have a straw.
These two boys take cereal  eating very seriously- their theory once you start you can't stop until the bowl is empty therefore avoiding a soggy mess.
I love my boys!

  1. What a fun pictorial of the eating process for a fun little guy. Hmm... why am I all of a sudden feeling like I can't wait for lunch?
