My dad spoke very little about his military days. I sometimes have forgotten about honoring him on Veteran's Day. Heather Hodgkinson McMurray made a great post about my dad here.
Obviously Clark knew a lot more detail about the stories of why he received the Silver Star and the Purple Heart than I did - you kids ought to go over and read all about it. (Also, she has posted a newly found picture of Grandpa Hodgkinson that was in the Unitah County Regional History Center - it is a great one.)
Great post and link to a great story Mom Corn. The Cornwall kids have some great Hodgkinson genes.
