Our Baby Moon!

On Tuesday Robbie and I had a wonderful "Baby Moon." We left the house at 9:30 am and didn't return until around 10pm.
Our First stop was the Mark Twain House and Museum. (Thanks Cornwalls for this gift!) We were waiting for the perfect time to use our gift certificates and we sure found it. It was so much fun. Above you can see Mark himself, pretty cute huh?His house was beautiful, it was three stories and had 10 foot ceilings.
This was one of my favorite parts of the house. It was a cute little drop off for the horse and buggie. It had a little "waiting bench."
The porches and balconies were amazing! Here I am relaxing after the tour in an old fashioned rocking chair. This little boy loves Rocking Chairs.

Then we had lunch at the cutest little cafe. Its near my office and I have wanted to go with Robbie for a while. They have the most beautiful and delicious baked goods. The food was so good!!! You can tell by how full I look! (Actually we were still waiting for our food at this point)Then we drove about 45 minutes south to a little town and went to their beach. It was different as far as beaches go but was very beautiful. It was fun to watch the tide go down and see people skim boarding. We have a skim board somewhere, when we find it we are definitely going to go back!

My view of the sand.
Here are some video clips from the day!

It was so fun to have this beautiful and fun day with my handsome and sweet husband. There isn't anyone I would rather spend time with. I always tell him that I wish we could get paid to be together because we just enjoy that more than anything else. Then we would never have to work or be apart...I guess if we want that we should look into getting a farm. We'll see!
Anyway it was a fantastic day!

  1. Hey! M.T.'s house looks pretty nice... almost a nice as 336(!)(?)(!). What a lovely getaway - or babymoon with your honey, as you call it. It won't be long now until you will have the added joy of childhood wonder on your outings.
