This is from the restaurant we ate at after the show - Masala Zone. It's a very-well publicized Indian restaurant that has several locations throughout London. It was fantastic.

Wed + Thurs
I didn't take too many pictures, but the following are what I have to capture the days: This is sitting outside on the curb on the West End waiting for Les Mis. It just seemed to capture a lot of what London seems to be.

I ordered the Thali. Essentially it's a bunch of dishes like the picture (this is from the website) and I loved how spicy my mouth felt afterwards. France doesn't necessarily specialize in spicy food.
The next few pictures are from the dinner we had at Leslie's house (she and her family have been living in London for the past year.) Her mother made us amazing chicken tacos and we all felt right at home. We took full advantage of the free wifi - hence all the computrers. My roommate Kirsten in on the left.
These are some other girls from the program (I went to Disneyland with them.)
This is the lovely Leslie herself. Unfortunately she's doing Independent Study, so she won't be in Provo in the Winter . . . I'm crushed.
This is most of the rest of the group who came.
The best part about Thursday was that I got to skype with MOM!!! How I love London.

I hope you kept a journal (besides our lovely blog) to record and someday share with us all you did on "Wed + Thur". Altho' I'm sure an Indian restaurant and Leslie's house are fine activities, if there is a wee bit of sites left out we would be interested to know. As you may expect, we are living vicariously through you so we are pumping you for all the virtual sights and sounds we can get.
ReplyDeleteNice to see some of the group a little bit more up close. THANKS LESLIE'S MOM!!! (for more things than just dinner).
