We jumped right in and saw the Victoria and Albert museum (which I ended up going back to a couple other times I liked it so much.)
Such a pretty place.
This is the bridge where I did mom's birthday video (for those who were wondering.)
For dinner we ate at Wagamama's, which is a chain Japanese noodle place. The food was amazing, and we went back again on Friday to eat there. I split a seafood soup that was very good. But for dessert they had a white chocolate + ginger cheesecake that was to die for - slightly spicy but still creamy and fantastic as well as some very light coconut ice cream with a mango syrup and coconut flakes on top. I went to sleep very happy
First of all... I am impressed you had the presence to post your London posts in reverse order so the viewer is seeing them from top to bottom with the first day being first, etc... etc... Very thoughtful my dear, very thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteI am so envious (and excited) for you being in London. I think perhaps that when Mum and I come to a time when resources are not directed toward our wonderful kids doing wonderful things quite so much then we shall direct a few bob to a British Airways flight. (Are you kids ever going to not be wonderful doing wonderful things?)
Rachel keep the posts coming. We are loving it. I feel like I am right there in the middle of the action. Although Robbie might not want you to keep the posts up as I keep reminding him of all the countries I want to visit. The food looks great, the company looks great and the pictures are incredible!!
ReplyDeleteLondon . . . ahhhhhh. Although I still think I would choose visiting grandkids and kids over traveling abroad - so I am really enjoying the pictures.
ReplyDeleteP. S. - I am still not over the jar of Nutella. Are you sure you weren't at a store or something.
ReplyDeleteLondon, London, London. I am so glad that you were able to spend some time there being so close. It sure sounds like you hit almost everything and your pictures make us feel like we have been there too. Keep the posts coming.
