Last night was New Beginnings. The Laurels were in charge of decorations and Sarah enlisted Dad's help to make an eight foot light house. Of course he did it in grand fashion.

Here are our beautiful Young Women.

We now have 5 Laurels. They are a beautiful bunch of girls. Celia Reed was the keynote speaker. It was a wonderful night.
Was that a Freudian slip President C.?
ReplyDeleteAnd sometimes I miss working in YW - especially now that I have a granddaughter only a week away from being in YW!
Dad, You are my Hero! You produce wonderful work. I hope I can make just as cool things for my kids like a lighthouse or a woodcutting machine!
ReplyDeleteSarah did a very admirable job (to keep the nautical theme going) conducting the meeting. She is quite a capable and poised young woman. We are blessed with wonderful Young Women in Monrovia with whom our girls have had the opportunity to Sail the seas of teenage-hood.
ReplyDeleteAh, no fair taking out the typos!
ReplyDeleteI didn't think it could look any better than it did when I saw it in person, and boy was I wrong. Dad you really have a gift, as if we didn't know that already. I too along with J. would want to do that as well, but I know that I won't maybe you can come and visit and do them for me. Way to go
ReplyDeleteAny time Robb. Any time!
