After partying past midnight we started the new year on the Rose Parade route. Jeffrey, Sarah and Dad left home at 5:30 am. Jeffrey sold parking spots at Dad's office. (Tough times have dropped the going rate from $20 last year to $10 this year - for a sell-out.) Sarah saved a spot on the south... shady side... of the Colorado Blvd. And all the rest enjoyed the flowers, bands and horses.
I really did have a lot more fun than it looked like in that picture. (I didn't know dad had already made it to the street.) Sometimes it is such a hassle to get to the parade, but it is SOOOO GREAT!!
