President Obama

History was made today as Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States and first African American President. It has shown a dynamic change of acceptance in the United States.  It was a brief thirty years ago that the African-American race even began to be accepted as equal in this country.  Now this country has elected a President that is African-American. All are interested to see the "Change" that will occur during President Obama's term.

Here is some Obama inspired artwork:

  1. What an exciting day! Although I didn't get to watch it live, it was a wonderful moment in history. On NPR this morning, they had a clip from the French news, discussing what an exciting day it was not just for Americans but for the entire world.

I am so excited that I get to be alive for this exciting time of history. And though sometimes it makes me sad that some don't share my sentiments I don't care. Hail to the Chief!!!

  2. It was an exciting day - and it is an exciting time.

Especially to be young, with the future ahead of you!

(Not that being "more mature" isn't fine too - but history seems newer when you don't feel like a piece of history yourself!)

  3. I loved watching the inauguration!! There was a sense of real hope about the day's activities. I love the peaceful transfer of power exhibited by democracy. I think we will note this day in history for a long time.
