Caves, Hockey and a Box!

Friday Morning I went to Renaissance academy, A charter school in Lehi. I went for my Art Education class. The teacher set up a cave so that the children could get an authentic experience of cave painting. It was pretty awesome. Both Charcoal and Paint were used.

Friday Night I went to my first ever Hockey game. It was BYU vs. Metro State. I went with Lanée and we had a fun time. Afterwards we watched the Might Ducks!

Saturday was like Christmas in October. The Second Councilor in our Bishopbric went out of town for the weekend. He has season box seats and asked my apartment if we wanted them. We joyfully accepted. It was an amazing experience!

Lodge 203!

My delicious free dinner. In that wrap is a Panini.

Jared and Connecticut, those cuties!

The boxes down the way

Half time show!

  1. Well, well Jefferson, what a rich Friday and Saturday. I am impressed with that teacher and the cave painting activity. Ice hockey and BYU? I didn't know those two went together. I guess it is well to use those Olympic venues somehow. And Oh.... the BYU box - 1) Bad thing... it is was one of the quickest games in BYU history so you did not get an extended luxuriation in the uppity-up section and 2) Good thing it was a "slow" game as far as tons of action on the field to distract you from the cool setting, free food etc....
